Clinical Services
The last five years has seen private hospitals in the UK and international departments of NHS Trusts continue to seek increased flow of patients coming from China although this has been challenging due to limited government support. CIC has solved the issue of generating revenue from clinical services provided to Chinese patients by taking UK hospitals to China and deliver the clinical services there. Through cooperation with leading private hospitals in China as well as close ties with top government hospitals, UK clinicians and hospitals can now provide commercially viable clinical services to Chinese patients within China. This includes the increasingly popular video consultations, second medical opinions and patient referral programmes.
Alongside but integral to the doctor-led services, CIC has also opened up new links in nurse training. This ranges from introduction and care-nurse levels through the Registered Nurse and specialist nurse categories such as urology and oncology.
Advanced clinical services have also moved to tailored healthcare enabled by genomics. While still at an early stage, our Chinese partners have already invested into partnership networks that could benefit companies and hospitals seeking to access the extensive Chinese healthcare network.
